Heart disease

Men have a greater risk of heart attack than women do, and they have attacks earlier in life. Even after menopause, when women's death rate from heart disease increases, it's not as great as men's. Heart disease includes :

  • Intake more food or supplements rich in omega-6 fatty acids and omega-3 fatty acids

  • If you drink alcohol, have no more than two drinks per day.

  • Have blood pressure checked on a regular basis
  • Engage in moderate level physical activities for at least 30 minutes on most days of the week.
